Bloomscapes Ground and Garden
Transform Your Outdoor Space Into a Beautiful, Thriving Garden

About Bloomscapes Ground & Garden
Our Mission
Our mission is to cultivate beautiful, functional outdoor spaces while growing community-centered programs that connect people with nature, practical skills, creativity, and care. Through landscaping, gardening, education, and future family-support services, we aim to create nurturing environments where people of all ages can learn, heal, play, and thrive.
Who We Are
Our work is grounded in the values we hold close: grit, reliability, trustworthiness, creativity, and genuine care for the people we serve.
Our team shares a deep love of nature, creativity, caregiving, and community. What began as hands-on landscaping and outdoor beautification is growing into a broader vision: creating spaces and programs that help people connect with the land, learn practical skills, and feel cared for in meaningful ways. With diverse backgrounds spanning gardening, caregiving, hospitality, accounting, education, allied health, art, and community organizing, we believe that outdoor spaces can be more than beautiful — they can be places of healing, learning, play, connection, and growth.
Whether we are refreshing a yard, building a garden, supporting families, or dreaming up future educational and care-based programs, our work is inspired by compassion, creativity, laughter, reliability, and a deep respect for people, place, and the natural world.
Service Areas
Houma, Thibodaux, Morgan City, Grand Isle, and surrounding South Louisiana communities.

Meet the Team Behind Bloomscapes

Tracie
Tracie grew up in South Louisiana, surrounded by a family of shrimpers and fishermen, where she developed a lifelong love for the outdoors, hard work, and community. Raised by a father who inspired her to build gardens and enjoy life outside, Tracie has always held a deep appreciation for Jehovah’s creation and finds joy in expressing both her creativity and her faith through art.
She brings extensive experience in caregiving, hospitality, and food and beverage service, along with a degree in cosmetology and a natural gift for connecting with people, caring for others, and making those around her feel welcome. Tracie is also known for her bold, community-building spirit, having started the local roller derby chapter and continuing to pursue activities that reflect her energy, creativity, and love of connection.
In her free time, she enjoys working in her yard, saltwater fishing, roller skating, playing volleyball, arts and crafts, thrifting, and being a beach bum with her husband and son. At home, she shares life with quite a menagerie — a dog, four cats, a tortoise, a tarantula, and still counting. Tracie’s favorite flower is the sunflower, a fitting reflection of her warmth, resilience, and bright spirit.

Lauren
Born and raised in South Louisiana, Lauren is a devoted mother of four and proud cat mom to Blueberry Bubblegum, who are all a constant source of joy in her life. She is a detail-oriented, self-motivated professional with a strong background in accounting, administration, customer service, and client/vendor relations.
Throughout her career in healthcare, business management, retail, and medical office settings, Lauren has built a reputation for being organized, dependable, hardworking, and able to manage important details while maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, vendors, and customers.
Outside of work, Lauren has a warm, creative, and adventurous spirit; she loves singing, dancing, fishing, duck hunting, beach trips, volleyball, thrifting, garage sales, sewing, painting, and arts and crafts. Among all flowers, the purple Agapanthus, or lily of the Nile, holds a special place in her heart.

Kat
Kat is a South Louisiana native with a B.S. in Linguistics and Cognitive Studies from Tulane University and graduate training in specialized clinical mental health counseling for military and veterans through William & Mary. Her academic and professional interests span behavioral neuroscience, lifespan development, disability, trauma, linguistics, social justice, philosophy of science, and systems theory.
Since 2017, Kat has provided advanced caregiving and personal attendant services for people across the lifespan with complex medical, developmental, and accessibility needs, work that has shaped her commitment to improving home-based care, community support systems, and the meaning of “care” itself.
Drawing from applied philosophy, psychology, cognitive science, allied health experience, and hands-on caregiving, she is especially interested in building more humane, interdisciplinary, and community-centered approaches to health, disability, and daily living. Her greatest passions include philosophy of science and language, brain and psychological research, biology, gardening, horses, exploring the world, collecting music across genres, playing piano for her fur babies, literature, writing, art, pondering reality, and lifelong learning. Kat’s favorite flower is the thistle.
